Just a mile from your front door, the Bellevue Botanical Garden is waking up for spring—and it’s more high-tech than ever! Beyond the peaceful strolls through the Yao Japanese Garden, you can now experience their "Interactive Garden" features. Keep an eye out for "What’s That Plant?" markers throughout the 53-acre grounds; simply scan the QR codes with your smartphone to instantly access their deep plant database for names and care tips. Don’t worry about your data plan either—the city provides free public Wi-Fi via "Bellevue Connect" throughout the park, so you can stay connected while you wander. It’s the perfect, free way to spend a Saturday morning learning about the first cherry blossoms of the season!

Meet Karen, the sweet, bouncy little queen of her household! Life with Karen is a whirlwind of hops and zoomies, and she certainly knows how to keep things lively.
This royal resident has some very specific tastes—she’s a huge fan of crunchy carrots and juicy apples, but if you offer her celery, prepare for a royal snub! When she isn't snacking, Karen is working on her favorite hobby: jumping on absolutely everything, with the sofa being her preferred kingdom.
Karen’s partner-in-crime is her best friend, Jeremiah. The two are an inseparable duo, whether they're dreaming up their next adventure or Karen is enthusiastically chasing Jeremiah’s remote-controlled cars around the house. If you see this energetic queen (or hear the pitter-patter of bunny zoomies), know that life is definitely more fun with Karen around!

Get ready to lace up for a legendary Northwest tradition! The St. Patrick’s Day Dash returns to the Seattle Center on Sunday, March 15. This festive 5K winds through the heart of the city, followed by a "Leprechaun Lap" for the kids and a massive Post-Dash Bash in the Fisher Pavilion. Whether you're running for a personal best or walking in your favorite green tutu, you'll finish the morning with live Irish music, traditional dancers, and a cold Guinness at the beer garden. It’s the ultimate way to celebrate the holiday with thousands of your closest neighbors!
